Help Paisley Meyers’s story reach someone new.

Paisley Jean Meyers was born into kidney failure at 31 weeks. She is a former identical twin who only had a 33% chance of surviving after her sister passed. She suffered a brain bleed and has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She spent 233 days in the NICU fighting most of that time for her life.

May 2025 marks two years of peritoneal dialysis at home. Paisley being connected to a machine each night for 10 hours permits her from ever leaving home. She has only slept three nights away and that has been at the hospital. Due to fluid shifts after dialysis, Paisley has been experiencing seizures regularly. It has been extremely scary for us to navigate this new diagnosis all while she is connected to a machine. Paisley is the happiest, most determined little girl. She has been told so many times that she wouldn’t live, that she wouldn’t be able to walk and yet she keeps showing up. We are such proud parents.

Paisley will turn 3 years old on December 15th and our hope is that she will be transplanted soon. We want to believe in this process. She has been listed for a deceased donor since February of 2025 and we have only received one call that ended with too much trauma to the potential kidney. We know a living donor is the best option for our daughter, our Nephrologist agrees. We have had over 70 people come forward after I announced on social media, but our Hospital doesn’t have a program to focus on paired kidney donation. They have always focused on direct donation. WE NEED HELP PLEASE. Your kindness was felt over the phone Brian and we are truly grateful you are going to try and help us. Us parents are tired but at the end of the day our daughter is the one ultimately suffering. There are so many other kids that need your program here in Utah too, I would love for Paisley to be the one who can also help so many other families in our state believe in the process too.
