Help Luna Miller’s story reach someone new.
Luna Miller is a 1 1/2 yr old with congenital nephrotic syndrome. She is in end stage kidney failure with no kidney function. Currently, Luna is on a feeding tube and peritoneal dialysis every day at home. Luna is in need of a kidney transplant immediatly.
Right after her 1st birthday Luna started to swell up. We didn’t know what was going on, we originally thought allergies. Less that 3 weeks later, she was taken to children’s hospital emergency. They immediately suspected her kidneys. Luna was admitted and spent 2 months in and out of the ICU. It was extremely scary for this happy healthy baby to suddenly be so sick.
Because none of the treatment worked, they did genetic testing to try and find answers. It was discovered she has 2 markers on her DNA that caused this. There is no cure, her only hope is a kidney transplant.
