Help Luka Lame’s story reach someone new.
Living in Albania, Bethany and her husband Gazi were overjoyed to learn of her pregnancy. Their happiness was challenged when, at 17 weeks, their unborn baby was diagnosed with posterior urethral valve (PUV), a bladder obstruction that severely affected his chances of survival. Faced with grim odds, they didn’t give up. Instead, they searched for answers and found hope at the Fetal Care Center at Cincinnati Children’s. Today, Luka continues to thrive, living up to the meaning of his name—’Bringer of Light.
Are you interested in being someone’s hero? After nearly 500 days on dialysis, Luka is ready for a new kidney! Please like, share or comment to help us connect with potential donors.
